Your " Pick for the Oscars " on FFP or SFP on 3X (large Field of View) for L2..!

Using at close range on moving targets i.e. " Jacks"........so 3X or even smaller is proposed use because of Wider Field Of View!

Question is: * What scope to use on the Lishiy 2..... for this application, Maybe a SFP so Reticle stays large for close within 50 yards, stuff?

... 3X 0r - Clear, GQQD glass W/light gathering ability / Twilight!

...Small lite weight & probably Lighted Ret, easy to see against moving and background for tracking IMO!

It is beyond me why people using x1 or x2 or x3 you call it "powered" optics, and beyond me why MFG even making those but anyway, I have my own boat and floating well for me.

The least power I ever had was x6 magnifier for a red-dot, and up...up to 10x50-60

For L2 I got a 14x Immersive Optics prismatic scope. The 12x50 MTC was in my main focus but (because of Brexit BS still going on) it was just faster to order the IO from Ireland.

These both built for airguns primarily.

btw, forgot to say:

If you really like the "low power" optics, why don't you just go with holographic or any battle sight red-dot? Last winter I almost got myself the Sig Sauer Bravo 5 but it was not available for long months I can see they back in stock again

Gee! I do not know? Except it is called " Field of View " for short range moving / running targets i.e. Jackrabbits.../ Fast Moving targets.....

I would be highly entertained to watch you shoot one with a 12 X MilDot? However hey that is just me?

Additionally, please consider: Holographic / Red Dots Do- Not gather light for evening nor Early morning shooting IMO!

We made it 11 posts before you got condescending, so I think that's progress?

You have a point about targets on the run/moving. Personally, I don't shoot animals on the run with anything other than a shotgun due to ethical concerns. But I have practiced shooting on clay pigeons rolled across the ground and I like the 4-6x range for this, hence my two suggestions covering that magnification range.

A "low power (meaning below x5-6)" and a "wide field of view" are not necessarily the same scopes.

Yes there are scopes for wider field view above 10x. If you want wide field of view be prepared to get a short eye relief or you must go 50 or 60 mm or more OD objective to clear the outer ring. check that out.

By any means you may be a better shooter then me but I was playing with camera optics for decades and from my view not much of a difference between a scope tube - lens tube how these behaves and relates.

And btw for a running game how far out you need a wide angle? 25 M or 50 M?
