Your opinion please

I am looking forward to purchasing a new air rifle in January my eyesight makes me a scope only shooter for targets. 

This leads me to under lever or side lever, I am not interested in PCP or CO2. 

My first choices are the HW 97 and HW 77 laminates the Diana side levers are interesting as well.

Just for fun there is an under lever M1 replica from Springfield Armory that would sit well next to my Garand and mini14.

I would like your opinions I know there are other options but these are what look good to me.

Indeed all good choices since that is what your looking for. Have a hw 97 and it’s a very good shooter. Only negative i can think of is don’t use a real long scope as it makes it harder to load.

I have the below springers and would rank them in that order for my favorite to shoot and accuracy

1. HW97K .177 - by far my favorite

2. HW98 .177

3. TX200 .22

4. FWB Sport .177

5. Diana 54 Air King Pro .22

If accuracy and quality are at or near the top of your list of wants/priorities, the HWs are your best choices. Otherwise, I can't help.

Back when I still had springers the HW97 .177 was my favorite.

I presently own the HW97 in .177 and the TX200 in .177 as well but out of the two springers, I would choose the HW97 over my TX200 any day of the week. JMHO

I am just the opposite, I prefer my TX200, even better if you could find a TX MK2 as they balance even better. I like my MK3 but a little barrel heavy, the MK 2 does not have the bull barrel so it balances better. The HW are excellent rifles you wont go wrong there.
