Your insight to: a BiPod that Fits FX Impact's Compact "stock" lower rail

I've got a couple UTG Recon 360 5.5 - 7.0 bipods models TL-BP01 & TL-BP02. I think your asking about the locking and that works great on these tough little bipods. Good side swing and up down movement if needed and if not just tighten up the base for no movement. I've swapped one around and it always mounts with no problem. As for fitting on an FX that I have not done YET, but Christmas is coming.

 There is no "rod" involved.

They (Spartan) sell a picatinny adapter, a smal item that mounts to the pic rail and the bi-pod attaches to that. I really like this bi-pod for it attaches and removes in seconds, this is great for 80% of the time I don't need one so no reason to have it installed all the time and when I do it is silly fast to install. It is held on by a powerful earth magnet, it is a brilliant concept. The bi-pod weighs ounces so a breeze to carry in a belt holster (optional). I also have a "Redkettle" brand sling that has a "Javelin" specific holster built in so it is always within reach.

I can second the recommendation for the UTG Recon 5-7”. I have one that I move between my Impact MK 2, Wildcat MK3 and my Crowns. It works flawlessly, attaches to the Pic rail on the guns easily and firmly) and has adjustable angles, all for an extremely good price. I can’t see a reason to spend more (and I do have a bunch of Harris iPods and an Atlas on my Powder burners).
