I'm not home but I was looking at pictures of mine and it does look like more work and more risk than I'm willing to take on.

The fore end of the stock would super thin and could easily break during the inletting. I decided to sell mine before I put it under the knife.

I'd say that was a smart move. If I can't get a little more attached to mine, I'll probably sell it too. It really shines at longer ranges and shooting past 60 or 70 yards on my property is a pain in the butt.
