Just wanted to try to get some opinions on the different Brocock pcp's and why a specific model if your favorite. Im looking at a Commander and just find these rifles very interesting but hard to get much in details about them.
Why? Just do to the small size?I've never shot one, but if I were to buy one right.now, it would be some configuration of the Atomic.
Yup. Super small carbines/bullpup are ideal for the type of shooting I like to do.Why? Just do to the small size?
How do you think the commander in 25 would perform off bench at 50+XR Magnum in 25 for Bench is amazing. Haven’t shot the atomic or ranger but have no doubt that for a lightweight, they are great choices.
How far out can you accurately shoot with it?I've got a standard Bantam in .177 that has spoiled me. Love the shot count and it's as accurate as any I've shot.
I've not tried it much past 65 yards. I shoot 8.4's out of it so no sense really to push much past that. Typically 50 yards and under for this one.How far out can you accurately shoot with it?
Looking forward to your take on that “We The Plinkers” package.I haven’t received my atomic xr yet but it has all the elements I was looking for in a new rig.
Not to be confused with its competitor SisVagThe title of this thread... The juvenile in me can't help but chuckle...
I personally haven’t tested it beyond that. However, given the XR Magnum’s build quality, I believe it will outperform the majority of people’s abilities. It’s more the person than the equipment, typically. Now, could you find more competition style shooting guns? Absolutely. If that’s what you’re looking for than you could invest in something that could have all the micro adjusting a skilled master marksman could ask for. With that adjustability, mind you, you may be introducing points of failure. To me, the Commander XR Magnum is powerful, accurate, reliably adjustable, portable (folding and collapsing stock) well moderated. I mean, there’s a lot of good going on which is why people love them. How do you think the commander in 25 would perform off bench at 50+
