That is the first evidence that the 700mm barrel will in fact be produced in .25cal. It will interesting to see what extra power that provides.

Here’s what I don’t understand.... if the new Twist X barrels are supposed to retail in the $100 range than how on earth is that Impact worth 3K? That fancy Impact must be made of solid gold, Lol. Oh and this is coming from an Impact owner.

It's only the liners that will cost $100. A whole barrel kit will be a lot more!
So once you have your barrel and you want to try a different twist rate or choke you buy a liner for $100 to your spec's
I think theoretically you could buy parts to change caliber but you would have to buy everything except the barrel sleeve. That sounds almost not worth it.

Ahh yes you are correct, I’ve watched that video before and completely overlooked that. But still I could buy a couple of nice air rifles for the cost of that Impact alone, ooohhh or what about a nice Bauer or Coltri compressors? That would be sweet!!!

Are you kidding me? Really? Impact rifles normally sell for around $1995.00... so that means the X barrel adds almost $1000.00 to the price? It is hard for me to believe this $1000.00 X barrel makes the rifle that much more accurate to justify the extra $1000.00 price tag. I mean if it gave me 1/2" groups at 100 yards I could say maybe yes...but for most of us 1" groups at 100 yards will work just fine for $1000.00 less money. I wonder if it comes with Matt Dubber's autograph too?

I’m curious...was his pellets sorted for him prior to the match or did he have time to sort pellets prior too or he just shoot right out of the tin? Can the x barrel just handle pellets out of the tin?

I stopped by AOA the other day and was able to shoulder an Impact. I really like the fit. Are they really worth the expense? I have a streamline .22 and really like it, But I am thinking about and Impact. I am new here thank you for your help.

Yes, the impact is awesome. I have a Silver one in .30 and it's by far my favorite to shoot. It is a thirsty little bugger though. It'll consume a scuba tank and a tin of pellets in no time.
I got the sideshot magazines for mine too and they are a super nice upgrade.

If I remember right, the side shot .30 holds 23 pellets. I can run 2 mags per full fill.

Perfect. Thank you for the help/link. I bit the bullet and put a black .25 Impact on order. I'm pretty excited. I bought a .22 Streamline 6 months or so ago and I really like it.

I love my impact in .30. The shot count is actually pretty great compared to a lot of other rifles that wont shoot a .25 with as many shots. I hand that to FX and the regulator the decided to use.
