Your .357 or. .257 long distance groups ?

Hello Jaydog
What are you calling long range 200 to 500 yards or 500 to over 1000 yards ?
357 and 257 will go to 1000 yards with the right bullet, Forget BC is constantly changing with the weather in the same day in the same hour.
For long range work you will have to be theathered to your big tank, a tank regulator is a must.
I set the world recored at 1107 yards with a Texan 308 stock gun no parts were changed I used a 154 grain spire point bullet
leaving the barrel at 850 fps group was 1.25 moa on a 24 inch target which is under 13 inches 3 shot group. It was windy and my range is in the rocky mountains in New Mexico at 7600 feet above see level ,forget wind at ground you have to shoot the wind 200 yards above you on that day I had 6 different winds to shoot through , if you cant under stand wind and how to read it you will never connect at 1000 yards.
Hop this helps you in your quest to long range air gun shooting .
David

My factory Texan .510 TX2 valve 3625 psi max power dial tethered shooting 650 grain spire poInt boat tail at 750 fps with a B.C of around .5. Accuracy now around 2 moa at 125 yards average.
You need an AAO valve and 4500psi bottle ;-)
1200+ft/lbs on the first shot and the first three over 900ft/lbs.

No doubt I been wanting the African Air Ordnance 4500 psi upgrade for 2 years. I have a aqua environment regulator good to regulate from 7000 psi down to zero. Also have a 5500 psi Scott tank. Im.getting much better at getting my yong heng to fill tanks at max pressure after rebuild. Slow and steady wins the race check out my new Texan stock upgrade. Its a old rem 700 3 inch wide thumb hole laminated stock.
