Young Heng help

I have two of the Yong Heng compressors one is two years old and doing fine and one is four months old and I had to replace the second stage piston, gaskets and a couple of dowty seals. The parts are linked below as is a tutorial to replacing the head o-rings and reed valves. The first stage piston often gets cracked or caves in when the second stage piston has problems or from prolonged stress. So I purchased the whole set although all I have used thus far is the 2nd stage piston as I caught it early enough.

Good advice above, the common thing that wears or breaks is the high pressure piston/plastic rings

they are a pain to change and can be damaged when stretching them on. Much easier to just buy the whole piston complete.

Also gasket sets since they often tear during disassembly.

Many were skeptical of the YH initially but over the last few years they have worked well and parts are cheap.

Once you do not abuse them and run them with ice water for not longer than 20-30mins at a time you will get good service out of them.
