You know what I hate!! When you show a new Airgun and you keep getting how much.

Or start lying. Then we will know when we see a FX Crown for $299.95, we will know it’s a scam.

Yes you read all the time on AGN and other Fx forms of scammers who use other photos to sell or scam someone as I said this happens all the time to the point where the administrator kicks them out. It's usually the same group of guys you can look at anyone's post of there airgun and the ask how much? It's not the point of telling how much I don't care it's the point of they ask everyone the same question that has the same impact or crown they screen shot the photo sometimes as well I seen my photo of my gun and it said for sale. I contacted them and they never replied to me because they know who I was the owner of the airgun. I reported it and they were kicked out. But then on the other side of things you just get a simple how much and you tell them and a new member post his same crown or impact and he ask how much again so I just was asking to see has this happened to anyone else. @vetmx yes I seen my own airgun for sale it was mine and it was listed for 1,100.00 with scope rings extra bottle everything in the photo I contacted them but no answer hahaha I was freaked out because I know he was scamming someone but I had it took down.

I have noticed that on Instagram. Not my posts but in some of the comments of other accounts. I thought that it was odd and now you post this here. There is something strange about that. Curiosity maybe? Still seems off to me.

I just had a weird experience in the classifieds. No money exchanged hands but the seller has been in the wind for days since we settled on a price and I asked him to text me. I’m not going to flip out, he could have something going on in his life far more important than an airgun. This was going to be my first used purchase. Think I’ll stick with new guns. Less drama is worth the extra couple bucks. It’s not like used guns are good deals anyway.

I hear what you’re saying. I always assume that the person doing the “show and tell” paid whatever they thought the object was worth. And never ask the price. If I’m really interested, I would just look it up.

This is common in those countries, specially the Philippines. It may have something to do with things like airguns being hard to get. It’s very cultural and pronounced. Moderators always warn people to stop asking, but they do it anyway.

As intenseaty said... it IS a cultural thing. Many less westernized countries that is very common. Price being the most common question they ask friends about new stuff. Might harken back to (and still goes on) when one guy pays 1k for a rug and his neighbor bought yesterday from the same place for 500. I’ve seen this a lot. In our globalist economy where there’s far more standardization we’re not accustomed to it. Imo.

I don't know why every time I show off a new FX airgun on a Fx form I get someone from The Philippines or some where like it. They always ask how much??? They never say how do you like it or anything? No just how much. And I don't know why it bothers me so bad and it's not a big deal but it's the same guys and they ask everyone the same question every time. Someone talks about there airguns it's always FX brand airguns others forms have banned these guys because that's all the say on every post that's FX so my question is Has this happened to you??
I just find it wired how this is all they say and if you answer them with a price they never reply.
So, how much?
I've always said,if have to ask you can't afford it.

I do have a neighbor whose like that. Two summers ago my wife and I decided to build a 53’ long by 6’ wide bridge on our pond to get out to an island in the middle of the pond, and at the same time build a 18’ x 12’ wide dock. I told my wife I don’t ever ever wanna do this again or fix anything due to substandard materials that failed, so only top notch materials like pressure treated structure, pvc decking and choice fasteners were used. We held nothing back in the cost to build it.
Anyway, as my son and I were a week into it, my neighbor came by, and I expected chatter like “who designed it”, “what type of brackets are you using”, or just a “nice job you got going”. But instead, it was “how much?”
I had my roof done last year. He comes over to check it out. First question- “how much?” Had my driveway re asphalted, can you guess what he asked when he saw the work crew?

Assuming it was new from a retailer than its their problem, not yours. You specify FX but its similar across many brands. Price is what it is (or vey close) or what you can search for and actually order to the location in question. Ignore them or just tell its their problem, especially i]f overseas. If they cant search than they probably cant order it anyway.... i know, there some exceptions where one cant get to the website but could call and order but thats not likely to change the price in their favor.....

I know exactly what the op is talking about. Every FB post by FX, Utah Airguns, etc. has people asking these questions. How much? Where can I get it? It often had nothing to do with the topic of the post. I don't know where they are from, but surely not US or Europe.
