You have $6,000 to spend on a rifle and optic - what would you get and why?

I would get a Quality rebuilt engine for my 99 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 and store it in my Container till I need it, it only has 236,000 on it right now, should be good for 300,000 +, and get new tires all the way around, then what every is left over put it into the bank, I have enough air guns for now, but if a nice fixer upper pops up in the used section, I might be tempted.....

I would stick with AirForce Texan line and the best Athlon scope. I feel both of theses are the best for my needs .

Well things change ....so now since I'm gettin the Huben pistol .25 I would pair it with a Rifle in .25

Again I have a ton of scopes sitting around so I don't need buy, that would leave me a nice bag with 4 grand left

I got a Western rattler 357 semi-auto with a vortex viper pst gen 2 1-6x24 deadly combination. And a Huben K1 .25 cal with a Sig Romeo 5 Red Dot. Altogether is about six grand I would guess with the attachments and stuff I have on both guns.

It would be easy to spend $6k. I would probably get a nice HPA compressor, some .20 pellets (40k JSBs would be $1500 right now), lots of .22 and .177 pellets as well, maybe a nice Silver Streak, and some assorted parts. Including a Mac1 billet arm and other Steroid parts for one of my Benjamins. Then I would assess what I had left (if any) and decide what to spend it on.

As long as you have a good fill source to compliment it. I agree 6k can yield you a fine setup.

Maybe a Panthera, Vulcan 3, or M3. Maybe another Athlon Cronus or March scope to compliment it.

Lots of options. Guess it depends on the purpose of the gun.

She would have a red hue with substantial stippling on the fore grip. Then a full round butt with a cushioned cheek raiser. Likes gentle handling but can stand the occasional roughness. Can spend the night on the ground.upkeep to a minimum.
Oh, I got carried away. 6 grand should get you by!

Definitely don’t need (L2 and CP covers all the boxes for me) but Ripley with top grain traditional furniture and an S&B on the top in .20 would be extremely nice.

Daystate Red Wolf HP - select walnut stock
Sightron SIII 36 or 45X - depending on whether I go .177, .22 or .25

Definitely want to try an electronic Daystate.

Seriously? A rifle you can’t shoulder that has no trigger and is fired from a box on the end of a cable. Strong pass from me.

With that kind of cash I'd finally take the dive into the deep end of the PCP pool. I'd get a Weihrauch HW100KS and top it off with a Hawke Sidewinder 30mm 4-16x50, buy a couple dozen mags, a high quality compressor, and a boatload of ammo. Then I'd take whatever cash was left and I'd throw a keg party complete with dancing girls and invite all my shooting buddies over. Of course, we wouldn't tap the keg till after we were all done shooting for the day.
