You Guys are probably gonna think I'm nuts, but here's #2...

For the current price,I couldn't help it. Turned the hammer spring adjuster out two revolutions, prepped it,replaced the short stock sear adjustment screw with the barrel band screw (again..it's the same diameter and pitch only longer) left the band on this one-It's on there in a "floating" state...if the barrel is bumped,it will spring back without altering zero. Dressed up the Big-O moderator with some faux carbon wrap I had on hand,a bipod and zeroed it with a 3-12X32 Bug Buster. It weighs in at 7.9 lbs total as is. Its going to be used mostly for light pesting (by me) and target/plinking for my Wife and Daughter (They don't want to kill anything.) I'll fiddle with the velocity when I have more time in addition to pellet testing with this and the 1st one.

Thinkin I will keep the stock moderator on this one...for now. I plan on keeping this one at a lower power/higher shot count tune. The longer screw mod. makes the triggers Very nice! (In my opinion, anyway.) And by backing off the hammer preload, this one (#2, I'll call her/him/it.) cocks effortlessly...Plus as an added bonus, it IS "mouse fart quiet" as Steve from AEAC so eloquently put it. I'll be sure to post updates!

Kinda threw me off thought this was a followup with your TURD IN THE PUNCH BOWL post with this #2...

I am just like you! LOL!!! HAVE TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE IN THE SAME CALIBER of the FAVORITES!

At least you always have at least ONE to shoot when you have one in the "SHOP"...

I would put a regulator in one for target shooting and tune the other without a reg. for high power for long distance blasting!

I would just redo the factory LDC on this one and put a regulator in it. I have a HUMA in my BSA Bucanneer (same gun different name)

and it is a tack driver! I can only imagine how much quieter yours can get backing it down a bit and adding a regulator...

So shes got a name... number 2... pretty catchy...

MAKE IT SO NUMBER ONE!

😉

Ha! Yeah, the whole "Punch bowl" thing was in reference to the big, awkward plastic Buck Rodgers death-ray lookin moderator on an otherwise Wonderfully finished rifle. The 2 different power levels are precisely what the plan is. I Really wanted a Buccaneer! I Love the look of the stock in particular and its available without the Big-O tur...eh,You get the drift. The larger air tube was also a factor,as I just have a Hill pump. On the flip side, the Urban is sooo easy to fill, that the slightly smaller tube is nice. Obviously,I'm pretty happy with the little sucker...I bought Two of the damn things.LOL!!

Thanks for the response/kind words,it makes me feel Slightly less nuts! (Phew! That was a close one, luckily my dyslexia didn't kick in!😉)

I really enjoy reading your posts, you bring much sunshine to this forum... If there were more of you here, it would be a much nicer place...

Hey CA,

Sorry,I just saw this. Thats Very Kind of You to say...and You made my day!! Thanks Man!

My Wife always tells me, "Honey...some people simply don't know how to take you sometimes!". I admit I'm a smart-ass and fluent in sarcasm, but I Truly mean No harm.

With that in mind,You oughtta see the cashier's face when I'm asked if I'd like my milk "in a bag" and my response is, "Uh,nah. It'll probably just all leak out." Or gas station clerk sees my pop or whatever and asks, "Did you have gas?" Me: "No,but I Did have a headache earlier...thankfully. its better. Thanks." My wife has just started either going without me or sending me out solo.

Thanks Again!

Mike.
