I am currently in possession of a variety of PCPs (my better-half says I have too many😉). If for some ungodly reason I found myself limited to just one airgun, my choice would be my Taipan Mutant .22 cal.

I shoot this gun everyday (target-shooting and pest control). At 31 FPE -- pushing the JSB 18.1 grain pellets @ 880 fps-- this one is quiet and deadly accurate. It is my first choice for wayward bird feeder-raiding pests.

Bought used off the classifieds, bone stock (not counting the DonnyFL moderator and hammer spring adjuster) -- i.e. no mods -- this one is a keeper.

That’s a question I ask often. I think my answer depends on what I ate for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I’m all over the place. Also depends on the weather that day. Ha ha ha!

pcp, right now, would be my Streamline 22 shooting 890ish with 18.1 jSB. Cool part about the SL is the 3 position power wheel. Low for super quiet plinking with lots of shot. Crank to high and have fun stretching its legs out.

spring gun would be the R9 in 22.

overall I would have to choose a spring gun. I have pretty basic needs with an air rifle and if I’m honest with myself anything more isn’t really necessary.

2manyAirGunz, you must have read my mind. I was about to post the same topic and request feedback asking the same question. But the scary part is that I was about to say my all time favorite PCP is a........drumroll, please!........Taipan Mutant .22. I've owned a lot of PCPs and this remains my favorite after owning it for at least 5 years. It is deadly accurate, it isn't pellet picky, it has the best trigger in the business, and it doesn't need tweaking to shoot accurately. Oh, I forgot to mention it is the quietest PCP I've ever owned. The only adjustments I've ever made were to the hammer spring tension recently after purchasing an FX chronograph. Mine is switched to a left hand lever. I've got Papy_Yosh's delrin cheek rest and biathlon lever extension and a Michal Osyda walnut stock in factory configuration. Some people don't like the aesthetics of the Taipan stock but handling one makes that concern go away. I wouldn't change the factory stock shape one bit.

I like Yo's choice of 300's. I prefer the -same style only high end single stroke pneumatics. Their extreme spread is sooo low, I use them to test my chronograph.

My best pistol is a Morini electronic trigger. Best of the best pistol grips. Available in small, med, large. Competitors 10 meter mfg sell their pistols equipped with Morini grips.

I presently have my Morini with 6.5 -20 scope. I shoot Vogel wadcutters. In basement shooting at 50 feet is actually boring because I get perfection accuracy from this pistol.

My 10 meter rifles are Anshutz 2002 and Feinwerkbaugh 603, single stroke.
