Yong Heng?

Yes it's worth it. Certainly if you have several PCPs, or are shooting or tuning a lot. Its longevity is good if you compress and decompress it gently with the 2 bleed valves instead of shocking it into and out of action each time when filling your gun.

Use hydraulic oil and do not overfill !

The 25 cm airmega filter with desiccant&charcoal cartridge is recommended. Costs 25 bucks on aliexpress.

Worth it - yes definitely.

Filter - again yes. Don't take a chance with moisture to save a few dollars.

Many will tell you to use a quality full synthetic compressor oil. Search the threads here on AGN. Multiple discussions on the do"s and dont's on Yong Hengs.

Keep it cool. Overheating a YH will really shorten it"s lifespan. Again many discussions here on that subject.

Yes, imho it's well worth it to get a YH compressor. Love mine but I do baby it. I have an Airmega in line filter that's smaller than the big gold Tuxing type filter and it's very efficient. While filling, crack open the moisture trap on the YH for a second or two every 5 minutes of run time. To avoid losing pressure in the tank when doing that I have a one way foster fitting with check valve on my tank fill assembly. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. I'll tell you what I've learned.

Yes, very much worth it. With other compressors starting at $1100 or so, the you could buy 3 or 4 Yong Heng's before getting to the cost of another compressor. Mine fills my bottles and keeps me in air. The upper piston in mine shattered, took about 4 months to get parts in from China, but total to fix was under $25 and some time.

Ignore the instructions that say you should use hydraulic fluid and use a good full synthetic compressor oil like Home Depot sells and you should be good for many hours of shooting.

They are NOISY! Wear hearing protection.

They ain't perfect, but they do work.
