Well guys ice/no ice, fan/no fan, distilled water/tap water, water wetter, anti-freeze, ice and fan and water wetter... whatever water we want we wind up winding down with way short duty cycles. I can get a Kral PB Silent from 100 bar to 200 and from starting temp of about 18 to 60. That spread of temp will get me there. That spread of temp will not take my Priest 2 from 100 bar to 300, my Blitz from 100 bar to 250, or my Impact mkii from 125 to 250. Seems like it will only go for about that long before having to be shut down. It never stabilizes at a given temp settling down for a longer duty cycle... my duty cycle is from whatever temp it starts, watch the temp the whole time as it goes up rapidly, shut it down when it approaches 60 or 65, allow it to cool off for 15 minutes, start it up again for another 2-3 (maybe 4) minute duty cycle and shut it down again. @jimd i'd be interested in seeing your radiator setup. I think I better get a backup compressor... walmart.com here i come - at least they'll back them should they fail.
