Yong Heng style compressor air inlet

Is it normal for these compressors to have a bit of air puffing out of the air inlet filter? Or should the one way flap hold it in? Compressor still fills small air tubes.

Sorry I can't tell on mine as there is to much airflow from the fan. I would expect there should be little to no air coming out of the air intake though. If it still fills your tanks in a decent amount of time it is probly not a problem yet though. Tear into it when it doesn't fill tanks properly and clean the flap and surrounding area.

Yeah it's normal. Regular air compressors do it also and so do engines.
