Yong heng simple version

Not exactly hate but the Simple version does not have the cyclone water separator on it as the others do. This separator takes a good amount of moisture out so you don't have to filter so much on the output. You have to pay for the other filters but not for the one already on the compressor. This is especially important to people with higher humidity levels.

I am running mine at 50-65% humidity in my basement. There is a good amount of moisture build up that I purge every few minutes so my gold desiccant filter has lasted a whole year. It needs replaced now but no doubt I would have bought several by now if I did not have the on board water separator. I figure I saved $120-$160 worth of filter cartridges in just this year alone.

Also without the separator you are running all of that moisture all the way through your compressor, before it gets to the output, so no doubt longevity will suffer some.

At 40% you are a lucky guy just keep an eye on your filters and you should be fine although you can still get the parts to upgrade your compressor if you find it is using to many of the gold filter cartridges.

Edit;

You can get parts from Aliexpress they are dirt cheap. You must sign in for the search function to werq.
