Yong Heng newbie question…

1) Start your water pump before starting your air compressor and shut it off after the temperature of the compressor is back down.

2) Always, Always, start the compressor with the vent open and open the vent before turning it off.

3) I think expensive oil is worth it, I use NuVair. There are other good brands.

4) Open the vent about every 5 minutes (assuming your gun doesn't fill in 5 minutes, it probably will)

5) Extra air filtration is a good idea, at least until you see how much water is built up. Mine has color changing beads so I can check it and know when they need changed and how fast it is being accumulated. You stock filter may be OK for filling your guns as long as you change the element often. I got a bag of 100 from AlliExpress pretty inexpensively.

As stated above NEVER start or stop YH under pressure. Open moisture trap every 5 minutes for 3 or so seconds while running. Search this forum for Biohazardman's Yong Heng info. It's the "bible" for proper running & maintenance for your compressor. It will tell you everything you need to know! If you baby it as much as possible it will, in turn, treat you right. Keep in mind that HEAT is the ENEMY with YH. I keep 2 half gallon milk jugs full of water in the freezer & drop em in the water bucket when I run it. If you can set up 2 fans blowing front & back it really helps too. All my cooling stuff is in the same power strip & gets turned on BEFORE I do anything else.

#2 and #4…when you say “vent” are you referring to the drain valve on the left or the pressure valve on the right?(facing the oil level sight glass side)
