Folks, I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, but I have no choice but to now ask this. Posts abound about the Yong Heng saying "Beware of clones" -- "Don't get a clone", "Make sure you get a genuine Yong Heng", etc., etc., etc.... But NOWHERE have I found a single post that says where to buy from to insure that I get genuine Yong Heng (hardback edition in my case). Please don't just say "amazon", or "aliexpress", or "walmart", because that does not narrow it down at all. Amazon or Walmart is fine with me, but I need to know a specific seller or link or something. I'm going crazy. Too late. I'm already crazy.

Thank you guys very much. I have to apologize for posting this thread (kind of). I typically search and read and search and read for a week or more before even thinking about posting a question like this. I guess I was going in circles not searching with just the right key words. That doesn't mean I've found some place that is guaranteed to sell genuine Yong Heng. It just means that I now found that this question has been asked quite a few times. It's still good to get updated info from happy purchasers, since sellers can be around one day and gone the next.

lol, theyre all generic compressors but you do want to get a late model version and not some old one somebody is unloading .. i got mine over a year ago on amazon from a vendor called 'Smarketbuy' ..

Hi dizzums, do you happen to know if you got a genuine Yong Heng? Amazon has always made it easy to return stuff within 30 days for me. Did you get an extended warranty? I've never bothered with the extended warranty at Amazon, but for this I guess I would want it. I'd have to read the fine print on their extended return policy. Jeeze, I hate fine print. Thanks dizzums.

Here is the exact link to best-homepro on eBay with the hardcover model. I have purchased two of them so far. nothing wrong with the first just wanted another one. Both are genuine with the information/manufacturer plate on the side. The second one was and is still completely sealed like you would find food in the store. This seller is good in my book.

Excellent feedback guys! Thank you all. WorriedMan, thanks for mentioning the "Hardcover" vs "Hardback" naming thing. I've seen them advertised as both and another seller calling it the "Hardcase" edition. I don't know if sellers are trying to differentiate their compressor from others on the market or if it's just a translation thing.

Grungy,

You're welcome, glad to help. I'm sure you've already done "best-homepro" in the SEARCH section, however, for those who haven't, and are curious about Yong Heng and seller, best-homepro, I can't imagine anything more helpful to bring you up to speed. Paying special attention to Biohazardman's "Fact Sheet," and the first six threads, or so, should give any reader a solid understanding of the subject. WM

You had me in a panic for a second there that I made a major mistake with this ebay user. Phew - glad the search returned favorable results.

I ordered the Hardcover edition Yong Heng from ebay seller best-homepro yesterday based on lots of very helpful threads and posts on AGN. I couldn't believe the price -- only $245 ($259 and change with state tax -- free shipping). It'll get to me in Boise, Idaho before the end of the week. That's quick. The price is about what I paid for my hand pump. Thanks guys.
