Yong Heng cooling

I picked up Yong Heng(?) type pump at a tag sale, cheap. It doesn’t have any of the cooling system parts, and it seems to be a probable clone. The cooling water connects are a slip in fitting for some softer rubber type hose. Anyone seen this and have a source for the hose? I figure I will get some type pond pump for the pump replacement but haven’t found more than 2 inches of the soft white hose that fits the connectors. The connections work by pushing in hose and slipping a collar back to release the hose. The Ali sight has been frustrating to search for the hose.

This is what he is talking about, mine has the same. I replaced my water pump because it stopped working. I am having a flow issue. Water has full stream on the delivery side but has very little outflow/ Is anyone else experiencing this?

I don't see why not but you would likely need the relay, the gauge and some rewiring skills to do so.

Personally although I have two of the "Set Pressure" units I seldom use the feature as I blow far less burst discs when I release the pressure before shutting down. Some others do not have this problem from what I have read. I use the shut off as a safety feature. I set the pressure a bit above where I want to stop so if I space out I will not damage my compressor or over pressurize my tank.

Which is your inlet and which is your outlet? I would think that the push in connector is smaller diameter and might cause a flow restriction. I have always had mine inlet on bottom and outlet on top and I use the push on stock elbow as you have in the upper position. Never any problems with adequate water flow using that setup and stock pump.
