I have a YH compressor that I have been recording run times in a notebook for maintenance. Found stick on vibration timers. Do these work, I know someone has tried them? The ones I've seen record time in tenths of hours(6 minutes). I normally run it only 4-5. minutes at a time to fill a small puppy bottle. Will these timers start over each time it's started or does the time keep accumulating. Are there better alternatives?

Works perfectly. Shows cumulative run time in 1/10 hour increments (such as 12.5hr). Vibration activated. Self adhesive. I have moved mine three times using the same adhesive. Sold on Amazon or you can get it cheaper from other sources.
Note: I also switched my temp gauge to °F. I broke off the holding tab and used duct tape to hold it in place. Makes changing the battery easier.

I have a couple of the units also. They are posed to be accumulative. It does not make any sense that they would not be for parts of 1/10th. So, got the stopwatch out and tested mine and it does accumulate time under six minutes.

I have a "run-time" meter that hooks directly to the A.C. line but haven't installed it yet. Here's a couple pics.

Another option, particularly if you're uncomfortable with wiring are this style receptacle: power meter . Just get one with battery backup so that it saves your cumulative even if unplugged.
