Yet Another Rubber Mulch Trap. HD.

I finished the wood one I was working on. It’s not as good as it could be if I had a functional workshop, but it’s not bad at all.

Nice!

I also use one as a "shot box" in my garage when I'm tuning. I just slap another piece of duct tape on when the hole gets too big!

The only time I've ever shot thru the box was while tuning a 100 FPE Impact .30. All I had to do was shake the box a bit to reorganize the mulch to keep shooting.

That looks nice Intenseaty22 - the handle is a classy touch as well. I get large rectangular plastic detergent buckets from a friend who runs a kennel. I guess they are maybe 15 to 16 inches tall. I fill these with rubber mulch and use cardboard taped on the the top/target board. I’ve fired a .45 caliber Dragon Claw (?) into it a couple of times and it stopped the bullet. The rectangular shape makes it easy to position. I do some woodwork and may have to copy your design though; it looks pretty cool.
