Yet Another New FX Impact M3 .25 Caliber Magazine!

Now it’s a 23 shot magazine! Just spoke to FX-USA and yes, the .25 caliber magazine has been redesigned again. All new mags from Sweden will now be 23 shot. If I buy another magazine I’ll have a 28, a 25 and a 23 shot magazine. Well, I guess I won’t be getting a DTM STUD loader!

The .25s were a problem for a while, not too long after this post Orion came out with his inserts and they helped.

Geez, I just bought a brand new impact M3 and it came with the 25 round mag. Does FX replace or warranty the mag if it’s faulty?

If it's faulty I would expect they would replace it. Check with your dealer or with http://fxairguns-usa.com/ customer service. I can tell you that I have a 28 capacity mag and a 25 capacity mag (in .25 cal) and both work fine for diabolo pellets - I'm not a slug shooter.

Not a slug shooter either, my 28-round OEM .25 FX magazine mis-fed badly, FX replaced with 25-round re-design, under warranty. Replaced 28-round OEM wheel with Orion 25-round wheel, both 25-round mags work flawlessly. My guess is new 23-round re-design might be for more effective slug feeding. WM

Hmmmm, I haven’t even shot my rifle yet. Still getting it together. I ordered Zan slugs for it but also have plenty of pellets from another 25cal. Hope I don’t have issues but I guess I’m well within the 3 year warranty period if I do. Wonder why they put an older version 25 shot mag in with rifle if they already got a redesign out? Guess I’ll see how it goes.

Well, I went ahead and ordered a new Orion wheel and also a complete mag. I’m not even gonna give the FX mag a chance to fail.

It's just what FX seems to do. I never knew of a 25-round re-design until seen on this forum. Was lost as to the reason for the mis-feeds with my FX .25 M3, but FX-USA, upon notification, gladly sent a 25-round re-design, under warranty, after receiving copy of original receipt. According to what I've read on this forum, FX will replace any mis-feeding 28-round .25 magazines, with the 25-round re-designs, but won't replace 28-rounders that are functioning. Use your 25-rounder until if, or when, you ever come up against the problem that caused a further re-design to a 23-rounder, then contact FX-USA. Best of Luck, WM

Thanks WorriedMan. I just discovered this forum. Good to see I can come here for info and help. I didn't know there was a possibility of issue until I came here. Like I said before though, got 3 year warranty.
