Yesterday’s hunt

A cold windless 18 degree morning hunt was a success. The sunshine had the squirrels moving well. Woodland beauty is always a wonderful experience to witness and experience, I find it more pleasurable hunting with air rifles because the noise factor is negligible . Some of my land owners appreciate that they don’t hear any gunfire .

Are you going to make chili with them now? Here's how i like to do it:

Get the boilermaker chili recipe from allrecipes.com.

Instead of using 1 part sausage and 2 parts ground beef, use 1 part sausage and 2 parts squirrel. I pre-cook the squirrel in the pressure cooker, to tenderize it. It's tough, otherwise.
