Hello, fellow air gunners.
I have a TX200 mkiii in .177 it was my first springer, sentimental value after 14 years. I have tried different springs Vortek, ARH, different seals, a new stock and blinged it up and it has a smooth cycle, It can be dead on when I work diligently to shoot, BUT my stock little bit twangy blue laminate HW97K out of the box shoots better, easier to bullseye. The HW97K can keep up with my PCPs shooting flies at 20 yds. The TX might just be a quirky one, but my HW97K is amazing.

This same topic has been discussed over and over.
Try both the TX and HW guns. You will prefer one over the other. Buy that one and enjoy shooting it.
The fact that some feel the need to badmouth the one they do not prefer baffles me. Both guns can be winners with a skilled pilot.
