Yeng Hong oil and filter

Might I suggest 1 thing. Plug your water pump and compressor into an appropriately sized power strip. When you power up the strip your water pump will immediately run and begin to circulate coolant, when ready start your compressor and fill your gun or bottle. When you're done you can stop your compressor but the water pump will continue cooling until you turn off the power strip. You will never forget to start your water pump this way.👍

There is a seller on Ebay ( bmw-repair) that is offering 12 oz bottles of the Mobil Rarus 827 specifically for the YH compressors. With tax comes to about $21 .As tracker stated Yong Heng now recommends this oil per the owners manual.

Appreciate all the information everyone gave on oil types and purchasing sources in this thread.

I bought some of the Ebay Mobile Rarus, $22 for 12 oz. Not real comfortable with it though. Came in an unlabeled used flimsy water bottle, surprised it didn't crack in shipping. Nothing to guarantee it's not cooking oil with a 20x mark up.

Will by a quart from Nuvair in future. Might be $50 with shipping but at least you know what you're getting (plus 32 oz Nuvair versus 12 oz Ebay); after a couple oil changes just as cheap in the long run.
