I ended up with two MTC Rapier rangefinders and only need one. The one you are buying is new in the box still sealed (I placed mine next to it for photos). These things are excellent. Ranges to 1,000 yards, input your ballistics for pellets or centerfire bullets and it will speak to you via earbud or your smart phone giving you the hold over! We were Prairie Dog hunting with centerfire rifles and I was using a pair of Leica Geovid HDR rangefinding binoculars ($3,000.00 glass). The Leicas failed to range a dog on short grass at 400 yards 2 out of 5 tries. My friend's Rapier nailed it 4 out of 5 times. I was sold! Best price on internet is $399. I just saw where MTC will be offering a MK2 version of this device. The only difference I can see is OLED which is a tad brighter, and updated packaging. Performance has not changed as far as I can see. With that in mind price is reduced to $290.00 shipped! Paypal is fine.
