WTS: QB78 Deluxe PCP .22 with DonnyFL moderator and air gun scope
Time to liquidate some underutilized items to cover the cost of a recent purchase! This Mountain Air converted and tuned QB78 with DonnyFL Tanto moderator and scope is ready to go and makes a great PCP starter or addition to your arsenal. Everything is reworked and selected for PCP performance on a budget, but with classic looks and sturdy construction that you would only find on guns costing 2-3x more. The trigger is clean and light, cocking is easy and smooth, and it shoots GREAT! The under-barrel tube is easy to fill with a hand pump and the adjustable hammer offers a broad range of power and shot count. Trust me, if you are just starting with PCPs and a hand pump, you don't want those 0.5L guns! DonnyFL Tanto makes it backyard friendly, and the 3-9x scope is parallax adjusted to 35yds. I'll include spares and paperwork.
I just tested it with several pellets on high power and it LOVES Exact Jumbo RS 13.43gr at all velocities (the attached sub-inch 30yd groups are 839, 837, 836, 837, 840 & 840, 843, 831, 834, 832 fps = 21FPE). Premiers (also shown) group nicely under inch for the whole fill, and polymags, jumbos, and others do well with a little more focus on the right velocities. The only thing that didn't shoot reasonably well at 30 yds were HN rabbits, but the RS were giving the same energy anyway. I got 35 shots in on a 3000psi fill, starting at 770fps, peaking at 834fps, and ending at 679fps with premiers. RS peak around 860fps.
Asking$400 $360 shipped CONUS within 1 business day of payment by paypal goods and services (venmo, check, MO also accepted with pause to clear payment). On a budget? Get it for $250 $225 if I take off the moderator and adapter, but it's pretty loud on high power without a moderator. Removing the adapter will leave small marks where the adapter screws are set, but those marks would be covered by the front sight if you reinstall the included irons.
