I am toying with selling my beloved Regal for something that will be more fitting for nightvision/thermal hunting (now legal in PA). So likely headed in the chassis direction of things.
The gun itself is pristine, roughly a year old (bought brand new from another AGN member). You will be hard pressed to find anything out of place, zero scratches, and very few unnoticeable small pressure marks (you will need to look hard and with a bright light). It has roughly 1,500 rounds through it.
Performance wise it is an excellent shooter, shoots anything with good accuracy, but JSB 15’s and 18’s are 1 MOA capable in the right conditions and with sorting. AND IT SHOOTS SLUGS!!!! It took a little bit of toying but I discovered that with a light coating of ballistol, it is an incredible long range slug shooter with the nielson 17.5’s and 20.2’s. I successfully hit peanut butter jars at 275 yards on calm nights. It is simply unbelievable how true and straight they fly out of this gun (I have video to prove it).
Shot count wise I never ran a string to see how many shots it was good for on a fill. The reg is set at 145-150 bar on the gauge (from the factory). Performance wise here are some 3 shot averages I ran over the chrono:
Jsb 15.89 - 908 fps
Jsb 18.13 - 866 fps
Nielson 17.5 - 848 fps
Nielson 20.2 - 790 fps

bushnell engage 4-16x44 w/ moa reticle (subtends true MOA at 16x). This scope is a PERFECT fit for this gun all around. Min 10 yard parallax, not too big or heavy, crystal clear glass, AND TRACKS SPOT ON. You can dial up all the way for a long range shot, all the way back down and be DEAD back on to where you were, I will guarantee it as I have done so many many times, it’s incredible. BUBBLE LEVEL NOT INCLUDED UNLESS YOU PAY EXTRA.
