Avanti 853 (line acquired by Daisy - hence the name above) Single Stroke Pneumatic rifle. The breech is all metal on this gun, marking it as an older example. Single shot .177 target gun that for years dominated youth 10m and CMP 3-position competitions. Still a lights-out shooter with a Lothar Walther barrel and original peep sights.
Really lovely stock; a little TLC would make it striking. That kind of work is out of bounds for me on this rifle. Done right, refurbishing the stock would make the gun an eye-catcher.
