WTF is wrong with me???

This Corona virus must have affected my brain...in the month plus since we've been locked up at home, I should be spending a lot more quality time with my rifles and finally getting the chance to shoot again. Instead, in the last 2-3 weeks I've sold my R5M, Crown Continuum Yellow Jacket, Vulcan2 and also Uragan. I'm down to just a Leshiy, Lelya 2 and another Vulcan2, which is the fewest air rifles I've had in my safe in the last decade.

My slush fund wants to be spent and I check the Classifieds multiple times a day but nothing gets my attention. I don't see myself buying anything until the Leshiy 2 ships.

I don't recall being this indifferent to buying anything in a long time...what the heck is going on?

The pickings are pretty slim. The Corona virus has really affected production of air rifles. I had 3 guns on my radar screen: the Daystate Delta Wolf, the Leshiy 2, and an FX Impact. Daystate cannot give any estimated delivery date on the DW. They get a lot of parts from Italy, which has been hard hit. The Leshiy 2 will not be available in the US until late June/July. I did the only thing I could. I bought an FX Impact Compact in .22. Welcome to the global economy.

since i find it terribly boring to shoot at targets and only sight in my guns on paper, my time is spent hunting and knowing my gun. with that said, the more time i spend with a gun the more i know it. since my targets are game in uncontrolled distances and shooting positions, having multiple guns results in less time spent hunting with each. so ive actually talked myself into not wanting any more guns so i can spend quality time with the 3 i have. do i want another gun? Sure! but i dont want to find myself not taking my favorite gun just to shoot it. i already have to do that with “the other 2”. lol

Nothing is wrong with you, well something must be, but not PCP related. You owned and sold some fine guns. And still have a nice lineup, a man or woman can own a lot of toys. But you can only play with so many at once. I learned my lesson overbuying powder burners that live in the safe. Better a few guns that I shoot a lot and know well, than a safe full of seldom used ones.

My thoughts as well. I have one gas piston and one PCP. I have a few rules for any guns I own. Buy what I need and not what I want and if it ain't 1st shot accurate it ain't accurate and it goes. Hunters don't get to take warm up shots.

I sold three rifles recently because of the virus. With no idea when I’ll have income again it seemed like a good idea. My landlord bought a S-200 from me years ago and felt sorry that I had to sell my guns, so he lent it to me...wow, what an accurate little rifle. I had forgotten how good it was. It’s the .177 and sitting on the porch shooting single shot has been really fun.
