Just got home from checking on a buddy. He is a Marine Corps vet who has been part of the fun shoots/hunts I put on. Won’t go into details but has been a rough few years for him and with the holidays etc. really has him in a bad place. I got him out in the woods a bit today and he really enjoyed some bench rest shooting with my RAW HM1000x .22 and would like to pick him up one of his own.
He voluntarily surrendered his firearms last year, sadly it got to a point he did not trust himself having them at the house and I know he misses just seeing them in the gun case and that empty case now is a reminder of things best not to be reminded of so hoping a nice RAW to at least take up one of the racks will help…..
Looking for a .22 and not picky on stock etc. but wanting to get one sooner than later…..Not sure what it is about Marines and stubbornness but tried as hard as I could (without getting punched in the mouth) to give him mine to hang onto and well that did not go over to well in the least so hoping going this route he won’t be able to refuse.
Sorry for the long winded post but just all kinda came out when I started writing the ad.
