Rimfire and Air Rifle Benchrest European Championship & World Cup 2025.​

06 until 16 August 2025, Ruutikangas Shooting Cente, Liminka & Lumijoki,
Oulu Region of Finland

The benchrest championships will be organised 6-16.8.2025 in Ruutikangas Shooting Center, Liminka & Lumijoki – Oulu Region (FIN-EU). So far there are 771 entries in Benchrest. (26 Countries)
Air rifle competitions will be held in the 25m Light Rifle, Heavy Rifle, and 50m Unlimited classes.

I hope there will be some good YouTube vid’s, always fun to see competitors and equipment. In my profession we have the 3-T’s of combustion “time-temperature-turbulence” in 25m competition you have the 3-T’s of competition “time-turbulence-Thomas!

I’m most interested in the 50M unlimited. At the last Worlds two years ago, pellets won the top spots. (Fady was winner).
I told him afterwards that IMHO, pellets would never win another World 50M and that slugs would take over and dominate. He laughed and said “no way”. So I’m pretty certain an “I told you so” will be waiting for him next time I see him as he munches on a big serving of crow….

Hopefully it’s above 50deg. In Finland. I know a woman from Finland and she was extremely uncomfortable at 80deg. In MI., she said where she lived it seldom got above 75deg.?

Wanna know how tuff this guy is? He just had his hip replaced today and he is not going to miss Finland.
Those 3 amigos are going to be tuff to beat.

I assure you that the 50m Unlimited in Finland will change the minds of most of BR shooters.
