Workbench or Workstation

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to organize my garage workbench/workstation and like get some idea on how your setup is so I can properly set my bench when tuning airgun, would appreciate if you could post some pictures and how you setup the workbench arrangement of your tools and vise when you're working on your airgun. Your shop, your way of doing things...ONLY YOU can set your shop up so that YOU...will be happy with it.

Remember, unless you set things in concrete...you CAN...change things as you go along that you find that you don't like..! It ain't...Rocket Science.

Just like choosing what you want for dinner..!

A lof of the tools and parts are small, so I have them in a small set of drawers on my desk 14" tall 6"x6" 5 drawers. I have a large pegboard that has the other half of the tools... power tools, pliers, hammers, brushes. I have a bag with all my wrenches and sockets/ratchets. And a soft case will all my odd tools. Tap and die holders, small c clamp, small pipe cutter, lens wrench, reamers, all manner of small bits, extractors, epoxy, brazing rod, ect.

Gun parts, I label in bags by which gun they go to., and throw them in 2 small boxes. Either one I dont expect to use anytime soon, or one I do.

my current workshop set up is a bookshelf next to 4 tubs of legos as a table, so you probably don't want to take advise from me!

I keep what I use most in a tool box only for air guns , you also will need good lighting over your bench . Problem is I'm in a small shop in which I use for various tasks like welding ect. .and only layout what I need when working on air guns . As far as a vise larger is what I like , attached to a solid surface . this is my setup
