You fellows are discussing FT/LBS at certain yardages. From what I've heard they are pretty sharp creatures and hard to sneak up on. How are you getting closer than 30 yards to take a shot without being spotted?
Thanks

Had a similar experience with my old .177 R9.
10.5 CP low 700s for about 13.5 FPE
Chucky was facing away and I hit him base of the skull.
Slumped on contact. Not even a twitch.
Range was about 25 yards.
As has been said; it's all about placement.

That's the way to do it. Nice going, Matt. *Two thumbs up*
My Winchester 1977XS using 10 pumps is good for 745 fps / 12.9 fpe w/ Crosman 10.5. Once the trigger breaks in some more, it's going to be my all purpose hunter. The main reason being it only weighs about 4.5 pounds w/ the Barska 4X32mmAO I have on it. At present, I'm giving serious consideration to swapping the Hatsan 3-9X40mmAO on my Crosman .177 Optimus w/ the Barska on the Winnie..
