I tried closing the distance on this guy on two separate occasions to no avail... so finally decided to take the shot. I got another one just over the next rise on the same field five minutes later. That one was a body hit and he made it back down his hole. Really good day as I have thinned the population over the last couple years...that's 11 on the summer so far.
