I took the wife out to shoot tonight and she always picks the Wolverine in 177. Well she was shooting and she had a hard time closing the breach on a pellet and after that shot, the next thing I know is that the gun is making a "bark" of air where the magazine is loaded. Could she have broken the breach o-ring? I haven't take it apart yet, but wanted to ask the folks out here that may have had this happen to them in the past and what did they do to rectify it. I don't see any parts of an o-ring anywhere, but clearly the air is escaping at the breech area each time the gun is shot. It is (was) my quietest gun, but now the squirrels are laughing at me!

That sounds about right as I'm sure she closed the handle all the way, the only reason one hears such a loud pop is the air escaping back str8 towards you.

Look on the bolt and see if its on there if not with a light you might be able to see it or not inside the barrel

Yes, I took the barrel off (real easy) and low and behold, no breech o-ring! Thanks for the tips guys. I just ordered some 1.5MM X 4MM (NBR) Buna-N 70 as luck would have it I have the 5MM for the .22 but no 4MM! This beats the hell out of replacing the breech o-ring in a Uruagan! LOL

As an update to the saga, I called A0A from whom I purchased the gun and told them about it and they stuck a few o-rings in the mail for me - no charge as the gun is still under warranty. Great Service!
