Winter Rabbit

​Finally caught one out during daylight hours. It seems our rabbits become almost entirely nocturnal once winter arrives. This guy was out sunning himself in a thick patch of raspberry canes. My dog had spotted him earlier, and he was still in the same patch when I went back with the Streamline. Shot at about 15 yards offhand. Time to dig out the Crock Pot!

Congrats on the Rabbit! What caliber is your streamline and did it come with sling studs or did you install them yourself?

​My Streamline is a 22 caliber. The 25 caliber was tempting, but longer than I wanted for carrying around when hunting. I did install a front swivel for use with a bipod. I am still happy with my choice. The Streamline is a well made and very accurate general purpose airgun.

I hear you on the nocturnal rabbits. I take the dog back every night after work. I see one every couple trips out. Lots of tracks in the morning but none from day. Just scouting them out for our Sunday morning hunts.
