When this air rifle arrived it was rusty, the wood was dirty and when cocking the gun would go off when locking the breech in place.
Now it looks better than it did, and while it is not blued, the Dura Coat Black finish works for now. The stock needed some work due to years of oil and dirt accumulated and stuck to the surface. A little sanding, acetone and Tru-oil and it bought the wood back to life.
After finding the correct length screw/bolt and correct threads for the screw that secures the action to the stock, this corrected the premature discharge while cocking.
Overall I am happy with the current result, now to go play with it and see how accurate it can be at 10 yards (about max distance for Smoothbore), not expecting high fps numbers, I will be happy with 450 or 500 fps.
