So the wife and I are camping on a friends winery for a few days. I also have permissions on a few others near by. So this morning I went to one of them about 15 minutes away and got 7 ground squirrels in about and hour ranging from a long 17 yards to 95 yards using my “mini” crown. 380mm barrel in 22 shooting the H&N 21 grain slugs. I am now at 71 on this winery.
This evening the wife wanted to “spot” for me and at 80 yards I dumped 1…Well she has never hunted and “ doesn’t” like it and she proceeds to dump 2 ground squirrels at 80 yards.
. So we get done with 9 squirrels from 65 to 101 yards and later she dumps a rabbit at 63 yards…Hello dear you shoot competition with me this is my alone time
