Windreading device, cheap and simple

Good morning guys!😉



what devices are u using for Windreading?

i know there are some really expensive things out there, but I thought I can make some simple device that maybe anybody could build for his own.

long time I’ve used a cheap windmeter from amazon, then I saw a video on YouTube from „260rips” where he shows how make a device to show the winddirection. Yesterday I combined that two thing’s together.

the straw is brilliant!

so let me see if I get this right..... becuase the anometer is facing the shooter, it will read wind coming at it from any direction in some fraction of a "full value" wind ?

Yes it is, so simple.



yep that’s right, that’s the only negative point that I got cause it’s only reading the full value when he comes from behind or the front. But with a bit of feeling u know the value after some time of shooting.
