So.....Im definitely still new to airguns but not to shooting. I've been getting crazy half inch or better groups with my .22 pulsar consistently at home at 50yrds. Home range is cut through a dense wooded area with no wind. Headed out to the local range to meet some friends. I had about 20 minutes of no wind this morning.......then wind. Holy hell...I knew the wind would affect me. I was unprepared for how much tho. Tiny little groups were out the window. I found myself basically taking it one shot at a time trying to hit he bull at 50. Today was a humbeling experience. I am planning on going to the extreme benchrest this year. I fully expect to get wooped hard in the wind. My next gun will be a 30 calibre. Loving my .22 with no regrets. Hats off to those who can shoot well in the wind with these air guns. That is a whole new skill set Im trying to learn.
