BOY! do I need to learn to read the wind! Most people can put the crosshairs on the bullseye and pull the trigger!
WELL! In Oklahoma you have to learn to read the wind! SO who sells the best wind flags!
the best one = lots of $$$ each. you can make some for a few cents or $ when you get good with those then maybe invest on high $$$

+1 on what beerthief said. Trail tape and wooden dowels or use a coat hanger will get you in the game on the cheap.

I don't shoot competitive airgun (no matches any where near close to me) but wanted a single vane/flag for my home 50yd range.

I did a lot of looking and thought this outfit was the best deal for a complete setup.

However, I didn't want to pay that much so I made my own vane/flag for a few bucks (had most of the stuff in the garage). It works great and was pretty simple to build if you are 'handy' at all.

Watch the attached video to see how sensitive it is.

Good luck.

If you're shooting in OKC, reach out to okieairgunner (Caleb). He lives in the OKC area and he's tried several and would be a good source of information.
What I did when I shot EBR a few years ago was, watch the other guys high-dollar flags then, shoot a sighter if i questioned the wind to get a feel for what kinda of hold off I was going to use. I also shot off of a bag, not a rest. Managed to shoot a 235 7X in the 75 yard trials.
Remember, regardless of DYI or high dollar, the flag only give you a sense of wind direction you have to interpret. It does not aim the gun and pull the trigger.
