Introducing the SKOUT Airguns Golden Gun Program!

Shoot the EPOCH in select competitions for a chance to win a GOLDEN anodized EPOCH air rifle.

Our first Golden Gun event will be April 20-23 at the Northeast Airgun Classic. Open to all SKOUT Airguns EPOCH shooters in the professional division.

To Win:
- Compete using the EPOCH air rifle in the professional division.
- Place in the top 3 and be the highest placed EPOCH shooter

*One prize per event, in the event multiple EPOCH shooters place in the top 3, prize will be awarded to the top ranked shooter.

If you already have one, it seems like a decent prize would be to get your purchase price back if you win. "Win with an Epoch, get green!!" Unless they are letting shooters borrow the gun at the shooting event, and winner basically gets to take it home. Anybody that can pick up a strange gun and still win would deserve it!

That's what I'm thinking. Otherwise, how many current owners can there be AND how many would be showing up?

Yea ... have gun, not traveling 🤪
Well, I did say "a decent chance to win"... 😂

Hopefully we'll see more of them in the MAJOR tournaments like RMAC or EBR... If the new 56 grain ZAN .30 pellets are available to the regular schlubs like me, it'll be hard to tell if the performance is from the Epoch or the new ammo... Thats why I like to see the "testing" of the Epoch with commonly available pellets like the 44.75 grain JSB Exact, and not initially with unobtanium pellets. I've been told by a past winner and top shooter that "you can either shoot the new .30 ZANs, or lose..."

Well as a owner of both Dunhill and Dupont gold lighters i can most certainly relate to that James bond movie.
I do think in the movie a Dupont lighter was used for the " receiver " of the golden gun.

A pic of a Dupont similar to the one i have, and at least by the surface are used in the movie.
Though the movie prop lighter do look more elongated like Dunhill lighters was, but then the pattern dont seem to be the same.

Mind you these lighters, not solid gold but rather plated silver

Nice lighters, sort of make me a little sad i no longer suck on death sticks.

When a Machinist apprentice in the 80ties, which do not enjoy a nice pay ( i earned less / a lot less than i did in my regular job i had while i was 16 / 17 )
Anyway when the kid whipped out a nice gold lighter to light a ciggy, that did make the older guys there look.
Of course this was when i was a punk, and i paid far from the store price for either lighter. ;)
I have some times thought about retrieving my lighters from long term storage, CUZ while i no longer smoke i do light a candle now and then to keep the living room a bit warmer in winter.

Like Scaramanga, if you have to go, why not go in style.

I used to enjoy a cigarette once in a blue moon…smoked them all the time, but only rarely enjoyed.

I'm pretty sure if you wanted to turn it into cash it would take about 1 minute to go from WTS to SOLD on the CLASSIFIED forum.

Not saying people Won't .... but going to a BIG match with a new gun of any kind having so little time to proof it, get Really good D.O.P.E. data etc ... is an exercise of just wanting to go shoot it !! That's admirable and a nod goes to those who have or will do so.

The SKOUT really appears to shoot exceptionally well .... but as stated, one MUST acquire solid data to play the competitive games at a high level.
Seasons early ... will be watching the brand & what folks are able to do with it
