This is with my .25 mk2 impact with a 700 mm superior heavy barrel.
5 shots per group. As mentioned 100 yards.
Slugs are cruising out of the barrel at 1070 fps!

I tried for about 4 hours today tuning it for the 33.5 and the 36.2 grain Nielsen slugs. With very little success. So I finally gave up and had my wife drive 15 miles to my brother in law's place for .249 sized 29.5 grain NSA slugs. After 5 of them went almost into the same hole at fifty, I knew I had to stretch it out to 100.
So just before dark, I quickly lined up and fired away. Didn't know i could still jump and squeal with joy at age 35, but i sure did.
A great picture of the gun I took from a prairie dog hunt last week. Truly a beast! 110 fpe in .30.cal!
But I like .25 better. Cheaper, easier to tune, and flatter shooting.
