Will Spring Get Damaged If Compressed Too Long?

My 1996 Toyota Landcruiser is currently compressing 4 coil springs. The same as it has since it came off the assembly line. The springs were properly sized at the factory during assembly and I have not over stressed them. The truck has the same ride it did in 1996, with the exception of the torn up seat but that was my dog not the springs.

Is this proof that springs that are not overburdened don’t fatigue, I don’t know, anecdotal at best. However, cars don’t loose 25% of their ride height in the first 24 weeks they are on the road. Or heck maybe they do and I’m just getting shorter faster than I thought.
