Will it be possible to shoot slugs with a 600 mm slug liner and Impact Gen1?

I have a 600 mm X barrel and liner "A" for my Gen 1 .25 Impact. Was considering the slug liner but not sure it would be successful with the this setup. I'm getting 900-910 fps with MKII 34gn with this set up now at 145 bar. Any opinions out there?

Thanks,

KP

How do you get over 900 fps with the heavy? I have the impact x 600mm, 25 Cal. Drill transfer port hole larger and max I'm getting is 865. Before it was only hitting 830-840.

First you get Huma (or other accurate gauges). With them installed, I'm shooting at 900+ fps now at 145 bar because the crappy FX gauges were reading 20+ bar high so I was nowhere near the upper potential. what I thought was 140 bar was really 115-120 bar and hence...way slow.

Also Ernest Rowe replaced the original valve seat (which was a weak design), with his new and improved one.

I'm using the X barrel and Pellet liner A and the port is not drilled. My original Smooth Twist TP was drilled by Ernest and it increased speed like it did for you. Thinking about getting the X barrel TP drilled so I can pull the reg back a bit and save air.

Accurate gauges really help.
