Will Beeman R8 action fit a Weihrauch or ARH stock for the newer HW50?

Has anyone tried securing a Beeman R8 action into a newer HW50 stock, either from HW or ARH?

Has anyone tried securing a newer HW 50 action into an HW55 stock?

By securing I mean putting stock screws in and tightening the action down. Need real world try-and-fit results, not measurements or speculation. May be working on a project with a friend.

I didn't try my ARH HW50/99stock on my R8 but ARH says it fits. I might put them side by side but not swapping the stocks. Same with the 55. Sorry

Side by side the ARH and the “Not really a Goudy” stocks look like they’ll swap. Just like ARH said. Lucie had to get in on the act.

Does someone out there have the R8 or HW55 and a “newer build” HW50 that could just switch the stocks around to see if the action fits the stock and the holes line up? The post was written to see if a custom stock was ordered for the “newer build” HW50, would that stock fit a R8 or HW55. We already know the R8 and HW55 will indeed swap. The relief in the stock would of course have to be made for the lever on the HW55. This information would open doors for anyone wanting to customize an R8 or HW55. Thank you

There is no need to swap stocks to an R8. ONCE AGAIN, ARH specifies the 55/99 stock for the R8 as well.
OP asks if the 50/99 ACTION fits a 55 STOCK.
"We already know the R8 and HW55 will indeed swap." Any questions?

Thanks for the replies all. Let's see if anyone wants to be first to drop a refined 55 action into a custom sporter stock. Might be a cool "first-of-its-kind" creation even if it isn't appreciably better than a similarly adorned, tuned 50.......

I was told here on AGN not to go or trust manufacturers specifications. I would not want to drop $600+ on a custom stock until someone actually had both and confirmed that they interchange. Sorry KWK. Not asking you to do it as I understand the hassle involved. Maybe someone else out there has already tried it. Thank you.

I don't want to scratch the R8 or the 55. I heard they're worth $400
I'm pretty sure JM knows what his stocks fit.
