Tuning Will an fx bottle fit a leshiy

Without the valve obviously. I think they both have m18 threads, but not sure the pitch is the same. If that’s the case what’s stopping from using a 480cc bottle if you have the extended plenum for the leshiy? LOP would be a bit longer, but with how compact it is already, it shouldn’t be an issue for us bigger guys!

I think the issue I read somewhere was that the 480cc bottles end up too close to the grip and make it difficult to get your hand in there. Of course, it also probably depends on the size of ones hand.

So I can safely say, the fx bottles will fit, but anything bigger than the 300 will interfere with the grip?

Why don`t you tether from paintball tank then? holster around your shoulder and...go. (I did for several years before I got my very first regulated PCP, I tweak/preset the regulator on the bottle for desired pressure).

Because I do long excursions in the woods, and tethering isn’t an option.

Saw a post here not long ago where the guy put a 350cc AceCare cf bottle on his Leshiy 2. But that looked like it was about as big as you can go.

Yeah a 350 acecare works, little tight but works for my medium sized hand.

Base on the photo I would say that a 480cc FX or similar bottle would definitely be pushing things, especially for those of us with large hands, or wearing gloves in the cold weather.

If you use the bottom tube and get it machined to fit to the regulator the 480cc will work. I saw it posted here somewhere but can’t remember which thread it was in. I went the 350cc a scare route and a zero angle grip from Ergo. Fits me like a glove .

Donny fl makes a tube extension that will increase LOP, and may give the room needed for a 480cc bottle. Has anyone tried this?

I like your setup. I was thinking of doing that Huma hand guard with the 350mm barrel, and the Huma mod40 I already have. That way, I can remove the mod and fold it to fit in a backpack.
