Wildcat Sniper 30 FX slugs

I would like to try my sniper with slugs but not sure the speed would be enough.

I am running 125 b on regulator and the fastest consistent velocities I get are around 904 using JSB 44.7 grs

Best accuracy with pellets is 870 for me.

I was going to try the FX hybrids but didn't want to go to extremes on press for them.

Any one have any experience with the 30cal sniper and slugs?

Grump,

your liner is the same as all the other Fx 30 cals, so yes, they will shoot very good for a slug, at 900, and kudos to you for running a decent reg pressure in 30 cal .

assuming you are using the 1/22 stock twist? And not the pellet slow twist 1/38, those are actually the best shooting slugs of all the hybrids by along way IMHO. Good luck

Thank you so much for your reply, This rifle is new { Jan} and has the new, regulator. Dealer said it is latest version.

It is very accurate and I love it.

Will try the hybrids in the 900 range, just don't want to have to jack up pressures to get there.
