Wildcat question

Just got into PCP's and have had an FX Wildcat Mk3 for a couple months now. It's a sniper with 700mm barrel.

Can someone tell me what the factory regulator pressure is set for? I didn't write mine down when I got it, but I think I remember seeing it at about 110 bar. It is showing 95 bar now. That seems low.

It's a 22 caliber

My FX Crown .22 with a 600mm barrel is set at 100bar, so I think your 95 bar setting is probably pretty good. What kind of velocities are you seeing?

.22 should be around 100bar.

I don't have a chronograph to get velocities. Thanks for your responses, I'll keep it as is at 95 bar.

Consider a chronograph, very helpful tool for this hobby. Here's my cheapo Chinese one, doesn't do calculations nor store any velocities after shutoff but gives accurate readings, I jot them down and do calculations online. With gun in stand and aimed, set up using camera tripod (has threaded mounting hole), power up and shoot. They're others, less expensive, that work just as well, don't need to spend a lot. WM

Before I buy more gear, I need some more time with the stuff I have now. I'd probably buy a compressor first if I got anything else soon. It's a pain in the rear to go through 4 or 5 magazines then have to stop and go hit the hand pump again.
